At Storyblok, we’re all about making the CMS experience as simple and seamless as possible for you and your clients. That’s why we make it easy to get to know Storyblok with learning spaces.

As a Storyblok partner, you have the license to use the Partner Portal to leverage an unlimited number of free learning spaces to showcase your skills and attract more clients.

What can you do with a learning space?

Use it to experiment, play around, and show off your services to customers in a sandbox environment. It’s a fast, easy way to provide prospects with a hands-on Storyblok experience.

Learning spaces operate on the Growth plan (opens in a new window). However, they also come with additional limitations:

  • 3 publications per day
  • A higher limit on traffic
  • A higher limit on content delivery API Requests
  • Only one external collaborator for billing setup
Hint:

Keep in mind that partners cannot use learning spaces to develop projects. No commercial, production, publication, or live use is permitted. Learning spaces are designed for sandbox use and demonstrating value only.

Once your clients have a taste of what you can do, you can set them up on a self-service subscription via the Storyblok App and say goodbye to those restrictions.

To invite users directly from the Partner Portal, open a space and add the customer. Then:

  1. Navigate to your space settings
  2. Press the “Users” tab
  3. Click on the ellipsis menu next to the user you want to give access to -> Edit
  4. Check the checkbox for “Allow managing subscriptions.”
  5. Hit save

Why does your customer own the Storyblok license?

At Storyblok, the licensing relationship is held between the customer and Storyblok. Legally, Storyblok provides the service to the CMS user. All features and benefits that come with a license, such as Uptime SLA or Single Sign-on, are between Storyblok and the customer. That means customers need to register the required number of licenses with Storyblok directly.

Please note that partners are not currently permitted to resell Storyblok licenses. The license agreement must be obtained by the Storyblok customer, and the software use agreement must be held between the customer and Storyblok.

While you can’t resell licenses, we’re always ready to support our partners in co-selling our CMS to potential customers and getting the most out of Storyblok.
