The project involved migrating the client’s e-commerce platform from Umbraco to Storyblok to create a fully headless, future-ready architecture. The aim was to improve performance, scalability, and flexibility for continued growth. Key challenges included restructuring and migrating large volumes of content into a component-based model, rebuilding the frontend around APIs, preserving SEO, and minimizing downtime. The team used Storyblok’s component-based content structure, Visual Editor, Content Delivery API, multilingual features, roles and permissions, and webhooks for integrations. The result was a scalable, high-performance platform that supports faster development, flexible content management, and long-term growth.
