Globus is a Czech retail chain that operates hypermarkets. It was founded in 1999 with the mission of providing a wide range of quality goods and services, and it operates primarily in the Czech Republic. The project’s goal was consolidating over 80,000 content pages across CRM, Marketing, and E-commerce into a unified, seamless digital experience. Globus’ major challenge was content, and customer data siloed across multiple platforms, creating redundancy, inefficiency, and a fragmented UX. By integrating Storyblok, they achieved a milestone in digital innovation while reducing the content sprawl to 4,000 highly optimized pages. The CMS’s versatility as a CMS and a Digital Asset Management tool brought together information about promotional activities centrally stored and accessed while replacing outdated legacy systems.
