Stefan Baumgartner is a software architect and developer at oida.dev, based in Austria, and the author of "TypeScript in 50 Lessons" (Smashing Magazine, 2020) and "The TypeScript Cookbook" (O'Reilly, 2023). Storyblok commissioned O'Reilly Media to publish his report, "Decoupled Applications and Composable Web Architectures: Building for Resilience, Flexibility, and Immediacy," addressing how teams can approach composable web architecture with more confidence.

He's also written for Smashing Magazine on how a CMS like Storyblok can make a site more resilient without sacrificing the flexibility to deliver time-relevant content.

Stefan is a regular voice at Storyblok's JoyConf, most recently joining Storyblok's Bernhard Mayr to discuss how Strata, Storyblok's vector database layer, powers AI-ready content, sentiment-based search, and automatic content quality checks. He's also a Microsoft MVP, recognized for his open-source contributions and work in web development and performance, and organizes ScriptConf and Rust Linz in his spare time.
