Thüringer Familien-App

The Thüringer Familien-App is a mobile application commissioned by the Thuringian Ministry for Social Affairs, Health, Labor, and Family. It provides families across Thuringia with a centralized platform to easily discover relevant services, events, and support — whether at home or on the go. The app brings regional educational, counseling, leisure, and cultural offerings together into a location-based user experience. A smart filter system allows for personalized searches by category, audience, and interest. All content — such as editorial articles, information pages, FAQs, filter categories, and push notifications — is managed via Storyblok, a headless content management system that enables efficient, centralized content updates. Actual offers and listings are maintained through a separate backend. A public landing page, also powered by Storyblok, ensures a consistent experience across platforms. Built with Flutter, the cross-platform app runs smoothly on both Android and iOS. It demonstrates how digital solutions can simplify everyday family life and strengthen regional engagement.
