01 Why Storyblok V2?
Storyblok V2 is the next step of what we have always been trying to do: create the best experience for developers and business users and build better digital experiences. With Storyblok V2, we give you and your team all the tools that you need to tell the best digital stories.

02 What are the biggest changes in V2?
Storyblok V2 will be a completely new CMS experience to enhance content management with many new features like a redesigned visual editor, discussion tools, and a completely new Digital Asset Manager. V2 will change the UI in the Storyblok app, but will not change the backend services and your existing projects will not be compromised.

03 Will we be able to revert back to V1?
Yes. As V2 will be an update of the UI of the Storyblok app and not the backend services, it will still be possible to simply switch the Storyblok UI back to V1 during the stabilization period. It will be backward compatible and your projects will not be compromised. In newly created spaces after the V2 launch, you will not be able to switch back.

04 Will V1 receive any updates after the launch of V2?
No, V1 will not receive any updates after the launch of V2 and will not have the same features as V2.

05 Will my projects be automatically updated to V2 after the launch?
Yes, after the launch on August 2nd, the Storyblok UI will automatically switch to V2, but you are able to switch back to V1.

06 Is there anything we need to do to upgrade to V2?
No, the switch to V2 will happen automatically on August 2nd.

07 Will we lose any content when switching to V2?
No, you will not lose any content when switching to V2

08 Is there a way to try out V2?
Yes, by clicking the “ Try Storyblok V2 “ button within a Storyblok space, you can already try out V2.
