Salesforce Commerce Cloud

The Salesforce Commerce Cloud app adds a field type for selecting products and categories from a connected Salesforce Commerce Cloud instance and referencing them in Storyblok content.

Setup

1. In Salesforce, create an API client:
   • Store the password you set in a secure place. The app uses it as clientSecret.
   • For the roles, select the Salesforce Commerce API category. For the role scope, select the specific instance to integrate with instead of All Sandboxes.
   • For the allowed scopes, add only sfcc.catalogs and sfcc.products.
   • Set Token Endpoint Auth Method to client_secret_post.
2. In the Storyblok Block Library, add a field to a block, set its field type to Plugin, and set the custom type to sb-salesforce.

The field takes the following options:

Option	Required	Description
clientId	Yes	Client ID of the API client.
clientSecret	Yes	Client secret of the API client.
shortCode	Yes	Eight-character string associated with a realm, part of the instance’s base URL.
organizationId	Yes	ID of the B2C Commerce instance, part of the instance’s base URL.
siteId	Yes	Name of the site, sometimes called a channel, to read data from.
limit	No	Maximum number of items an editor can select.
selectOnly	No	Restricts the field to product or category.
