Apps
Apps extend Storyblok with ready-made functionality. Instead of building an integration yourself, you install an app into a space and configure it. Install available apps in the app directory.
Apps and plugins
Section titled “Apps and plugins”Apps and plugins describe the same underlying extension mechanism from two sides:
- Apps are the installable end product: what you find in the app directory, install into a space, and use.
- Plugins are how that product is built. Field, tool, and space plugins are what you develop, register, and distribute.
If you want to use a ready-made solution, start with the app directory. If you want to build and distribute your own custom-tailored solution, start with the plugin documentation.
Apps by category
Section titled “Apps by category”An overview of available apps, grouped by functionality. Every app is also listed alphabetically in the sidebar.
Commerce
Section titled “Commerce”Reference products and categories from a storefront platform inside your content.
Product information management
Section titled “Product information management”Pull structured product data from a PIM rather than a storefront.
Custom fields
Section titled “Custom fields”Add input types to the block library beyond the built-in fields.
Editing workflow
Section titled “Editing workflow”Help editors work in a space without treading on each other.
Translation and localization
Section titled “Translation and localization”Move content between languages, in bulk or through a translation vendor.
SEO and search
Section titled “SEO and search”Make content findable, and keep it that way.
Publishing and deployment
Section titled “Publishing and deployment”Control when content goes live and what happens when it does.
Assets
Section titled “Assets”Manage media in Storyblok or in an external asset library.
Space administration
Section titled “Space administration”Configure, secure, and back up a space.
Personalization and testing
