Algolia

The Algolia app synchronizes Storyblok stories into an Algolia search index and keeps that index current. Publishing, unpublishing, moving, and deleting a story triggers the sync.

Setup

1. In your Algolia account, note the application ID and the write API key.
2. Install the app and open Apps → Algolia. Approve the app’s request to access the space, enter both credentials in Application ID and Write API Key, and select Save Settings.
3. Select New Connection and configure the index connection:
   • Index Name: the Algolia index to sync. Enter the name of an existing blank index, or a new name to have the app create the index.
   • Storyblok stories to sync by slug: the root level of the space or specific folders.
4. Select Save Connection. Algolia indexes the selected stories immediately.

Every level you select includes all its nested folders and stories. To keep indexes separate, organize the content in top-level folders and connect one folder per index.

If any ad and script blockers interfere with the app, disable them on Storyblok’s domain.
