# Salesforce Commerce Cloud

The Salesforce Commerce Cloud app adds a field type for selecting products and categories from a connected [Salesforce Commerce Cloud](https://www.salesforce.com/commerce/) instance and referencing them in Storyblok content.

## Features

-   Select Salesforce Commerce Cloud products and categories in the Visual Editor.
-   Limit how many items an editor can select.
-   Restrict the field to products only or categories only.

## Setup

1.  In Salesforce, [create an API client](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/commerce/commerce-api/guide/authorization-for-admin-apis.html). Select the roles of the Salesforce Commerce API category, grant the `sfcc.catalogs` and `sfcc.products` scopes, and set the token endpoint authentication method to `client_secret_post`.
2.  In the Storyblok **Block Library**, add a field to a block, set its field type to **Plugin**, and set the custom type to `sb-salesforce`.

The field takes the following options:

| Option | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `clientId` | Yes | Client ID of the API client. |
| `clientSecret` | Yes | Client secret of the API client. |
| `shortCode` | Yes | Short code of the instance, part of its [base URL](https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/commerce/commerce-api/guide/base-url.html). |
| `siteId` | Yes | Identifier of the site to read from. |
| `limit` | No  | Maximum number of items an editor can select. |
| `selectOnly` | No  | Restricts the field to products or categories. |
