Task Manager

The Task Manager app defines tasks that send a POST request to an endpoint you choose. Users with the right permission run a task manually. Common uses are triggering a build on a deployment platform and calling a serverless function that syncs content between spaces through the Management API.

Setup

1. Install the app and open Tasks.
2. Select + Create Task.
3. Enter a task name and the webhook endpoint. Both are required. A description is optional.

Custom dialogs

To collect input before the task runs, provide a JSON object describing the dialog fields. Fields are of type text or option. What the user enters arrives in the POST payload under the dialog_values property.
