JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Sales Director US is a key role within the Sales division as you will be instrumental in forming, developing and leading a team of Account Executives for the Sales region North America (NA), Canada (CA) and Latin America (LATAM). Furthermore the Senior Sales Director, shapes the Storyblok sales concept for these target markets and scales revenue to the next level. Responsible for leading a team of 4 Account Executives and scaling that up to 12 for this Fiscal Year. Oversees business development and sales activities into existing and new markets and helps the team in forecasting and negotiating complex deals. Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Development of an integrated sales concept  For the sales regions North America, Canada, and Latin America.
  • Planning, coordination, and implementation of the corresponding measures.
  • Monitoring and reporting of (sales) targets including development and implementation of (corrective) actions.
  • Working together with the global Business development team to define activities with new and existing enterprise Customers.
  • Support and expansion of the existing customer network in the Enterprise B2B sector including negotiation of cooperation agreements/framework agreements.
  • Providing impetus and support in product development through the feedback of customers. - Responsibility for sustainable growth and ambitious sales targets.
  • Set up and development of a sales team for the target regions with the VP of Sales.
  • Preparing KPI reports, budgets, forecasts, of sales operations together with our organization’s team.
  • Participate in business relations meetings and opportunity reviews with the VP Sales.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of experience in managing a team of Enterprise Account Executives in the B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to create high performing teams and lead them to success
  • Deep knowledge of the American market and proven track record in selling in this region.
  • Experience in software development is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

  • English native language skills, Language in another language (Spanish, Portuguese) is a plus.
  • Reliable, accurate and independent working style, attention to detail
  • Extensive network in the B2B SaaS Spaces and outstanding communication skills.
  • Cross-cultural awareness
  • Experience in leading a team in a remote environment.
  • Experience negotiating contracts with enterprise customers.
  • Experience in a “land-and-expand” sales model
