# SAP

The SAP app adds a field type for selecting products and categories from a connected [SAP Commerce Cloud](https://www.sap.com/products/crm/commerce-cloud.html) instance and referencing them in Storyblok content. The selection is part of the API response.

## Features

-   Select SAP Commerce Cloud products and categories in the Visual Editor.
-   Limit how many items an editor can select.

## Setup

In the **Block Library**, add a field to a block, set its field type to **Plugin**, and set the custom type to `sap-commerce-cloud`.

The field takes the following options:

| Option | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `apiURL` | Yes | Base URL of the SAP Commerce Cloud instance. |
| `baseSite` | Yes | ID of the base site the products are read from. |
| `limit` | No  | Maximum number of items an editor can select. |
