# Replace Asset

The Replace Asset app adds a **Replace** entry to the context menu of the asset manager. Replacing an asset swaps the file everywhere the asset is used and invalidates the cached versions on the CDN.

## Features

-   Replace the current version of an asset with a new file.
-   Invalidate the cached versions of that asset on the CDN.
