Getting Started

The official guide assumes intermediate level knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. If you are totally new to front-end development, it might not be the best idea to jump right into a CMS as your first step - grasp the basics then come back! Prior experience with other CMS helps but is not required.

The easiest way to try out Storyblok is using our CLI - we will ask you to register during the process so no need to signup upfront!

command line
npm i storyblok -g

storyblok quickstart

Another way would be to use app.storyblok.com and creating a new space. Your first space will be initialized with the Quickstart so no worries - we got your back.

During the Quickstart you will have the option to Choose between the API / SDK and the Rendering Service option - both are valid ways to go.
